Timing of the Rapture!

Podcast show notes! This episode I talk about the timing of the rapture. There is a lot of false doctrine floating around about this. So much so that I felt compelled to address it. I show some concrete signs to look for that accompany the rapture. Grab a pen and take some notes!

Misplaced compassion that kills!

I saw a lady protesting on YouTube at the Republican National Convention. She said she was for “economic liberty for all”. In her rhetoric she stated that poor people join the military just to have an income and then they go to wars for rich people and get slaughtered simply because they had a desire to eat. A nice emotionally based argument. Pitting the poor majority against the wealthy minority.

I have sympathy for her and applaud her compassion, but her logic is flawed. Most people do things they don’t like in order to get a paycheck. I can see people starting out that way but if they refuse to better themselves then they have to accept some of the responsibility for their situation. It is easy to get trapped in the ho hum nine to five and then just want to vegetate out in front of the tube. That is taking the path of least resistance. Financial success NEVER comes to those who take the path of least resistance!

Let me repeat that so it sinks in:

Financial success NEVER comes to those who take the path of least resistance!

I lived in Los Angeles for a while and noticed a huge difference between the people there and the other places that I have lived. The people that go to LA to make it in show biz or some other venture actually make Los Angeles the glamorous city it is today. They are the type of people that will risk everything just for a chance at fame. And of course most of them don’t make it. I don’t hear them complaining about being forced to join the military. They wait tables and things like that and after work they hone their craft.

It makes me wonder how someone comes up with the logic that all poor people must join the military. Doesn’t it sound like social programming (Romans 12:2)? Doesn’t it sound like someone who doesn’t think for themselves? Doesn’t it sound like she may be a plant for a socialist group trying to sway the weak minds of the nation that watch YouTube?

Socialism’s fundamental principle is to take from the achievers and give to the people who don’t want to achieve. Plain and simple.

I have compassion on the poor. The bible tells us to help them. It is a common theme throughout scripture. However, I don’t have to stand by and let someone lie and make poor people think they don’t have choices. Her argument is that the ONLY choice for poor people is the military. Sounds like Hitler doesn’t it?

The mantra in high school “I can always join the army and have money for college” needs to be abolished! This lie is the one that is killing the poor people. Give poor people hope. Tell them they actually have choices.

One choice is “GET SAVED DUDE!” Eternity is a lot longer than the few years we spend here on earth. Once a person realizes this they will take their mind off of serving mammon and focus on serving Jesus. Stop looking for ways to steal money from the wealthy and worry about what really matters. Eternity with Christ!

Hey Jesus wants you to know something:

Mat 6:33-34
(33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
(34) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Sounds like a promise doesn’t it?

Jesus – Don’t be caught dead without Him!
